Ontario Brook Trout Fishing:
Brook Trout, also known as the Speckled Trout by most Canadians, is the most beautiful trout species on Earth, and definitely the best tasting. They can also be one of the most elusive fish because their feeding habits are greatly affected by weather and changes in air pressure.

We have 3 small stream fed lakes a short drive north of Cozy Camp where the Brook Trout fishing is excellent all year! If we have had a few days of stable weather, the fishing is outstanding. You just have to time it right. We take you and a boat to this tranquil setting for a day of solitude and excitement! A day of Brook Trout fishing on one of these crystal clear little lakes in a boat, or a canoe, can be blast! Brook Trout are common in the 8-inch to 13-inch range, perfect for pan frying. Guests do bring in 23-inch long Brook Trout that are considered a trophy fish by many people, and depending on the girth, could be between 3 and 4 pounds. When you have a Brookie on your line, get ready for a show! They dive and dance like no other fish!
